At the foot of the Tucson Santa Catalina Mountains are two amazing golf courses named for their terrain--the Mountain and the Canyon. These world class courses were designed by Tom Fazio and have won gold metal awards from Golf Magazine and the best of golf from Links Magazine.
Luxury homes blend into the course, and are without a doubt some of Tucson’s very best. Not too long ago we spent the afternoon with friends at their lovely home and it was desert living at it’s best.
The Lowe family, as in the Llowe’s Ventana, were long time Tucson residents and very good citizens. It was interesting to hear first hand how their family started MGM and Paramount Theatres , thus the international chain of Lowe’s Hotels.
Directions: from Sunrise and Kolb go north on Kolb--then right on Ventana Canyon Drive to the Ventana Resort entrance.
